Terminal Information for Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is the primary airport serving the city of Guangzhou. The new airport opened on August 5, 2004, replaced the old one that was 72 years old with an identical name. It has three runways measuring 12,500 ft, 12,500 ft, and 11,800 ft. At present, the airport can handle 45 million passengers per year.

Terminal 1

The terminal comprises three sections Main Terminal, Area A and Area B. All the check-in counters and most of the retail stores are concentrated in the Main Terminal. East Pier 1 & 2 [MOU1] are dedicated only for international flights, leaving the rest for domestic flights.

Terminal 2

Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are connected through the inter-terminal shuttle (Airport Express).
