Dubai International Airport serves almost 66 million people annually making it the world’s busiest airport by international passenger traffic.
There are 3 terminals. Terminal 2 is reserved for the airlines operating in the Persian Gulf region while Terminal 3 is used exclusively by Emirates and Qantas. Terminal 1 serves as the base for IndiGo along with several others. IndiGo operates daily non-stop flights between Dubai and Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Mangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Chandigarh, Kochi, Kozhikode and Amritsar.
With a capacity of 15 million passengers, the terminal is spread over 520000 sq. meters and has over 221 check-in counters and 28 remote gates along with e-gates for the residents.

If you’re an Indian passport holder having US Visitor Visa/ Green card travelling to Dubai, you are eligible for visa on arrival, while others would be required to apply for UAE Visa one month before their date of travel. For passengers holding ECR (Emigration Check Required) passport and labour and work e-visa, OK to Board (OTB) message, will be necessary.
