IndiGo Flights Fees and Charges, Cheap Flight Booking

IndiGo offers various set of services (unbundled service as per Air Transport Circular 01 of 2021 issued by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), as amended from time to time. Such services are (a) are optional in nature & are provided for the convenience of our Customer/passengers and (b) these services can be availed by payment of additional charges. It is clarified that Booking of the ticket can be made without opting /availing these unbundled services.

However, in case Customer opts for Double or Triple or Multi Seats services, such Customer will get additional baggage allowance of 10 kg, which lets them carry two pieces of checked baggage. Additional charges may apply for excess baggage.

Terms and Conditions for purchasing prepaid excess baggage for International Connecting Flights:

Excess baggage should to be booked at least 6 hours before the scheduled departure.
The domestic flight should be within 48 hours of your international flight or 48 hours after completion of institutional quarantine.

Customers/Passengers should produce relevant international travel documents or institutional quarantine release certificate, respectively, at the time of check-in failing which IndiGo will charge excess baggage as per applicable airport rates.

For domestic bookings, customers can make any changes or cancellations free of charge within 24 hours of booking, if booked at least 7 days before the travel dates.
If any cancellations to Bookings are undertaken through IndiGo’s call Centre, an additional fee of INR 250 per person per sector will be levied by IndiGo.

If any cancellations to Bookings are undertaken through IndiGo’s call centre, an additional fee of INR 250 per person per sector will be levied by IndiGo.

A codeshare flight is one in which one carrier markets and the other operates. They are a result of an agreement between two carriers to sell seats on each other’s flights with the aim to offer its customers a large variety of destinations to choose. The flight ticket would be booked on the flight number of the carrier that you have selected to travel with, however, it may be operated by another airline.

Checked-in Baggage allowance for 6E*/TK (IN-US) flights:
- IndiGo allows free Checked-in Baggage up to 2 (two) pieces each weighing not more than 23kgs per person/Customer for its Economy Class flights operating to US markets (i.e., New York City, Boston, Chicago, Washington) under Codeshare arrangement. In case, such single (1) piece weighs above 23 kg per person/Customer, IndiGo will levy Excess Baggage charges as set out under point no. (iii) below.
- In case, a Customer/passenger wish to travel with more than 2 (two) piece of Checked-in Baggage, IndiGo will levy an “Additional Piece” charges as set out in the table in point no. (iii) below.
Excess baggage charges for passengers travelling on 6E Marketed and TK Operated (IN-US) flights: IndiGo will levy a per piece excess baggage charge for each Additional Piece of Checked-in Baggage as mentioned in table below:

**Overweight Charges for Baggage weighing between 23-32 kg. USD 80 (Eighty Dollars only)

**IndiGo does not permit any single (1) piece of Checked-in Baggage weighing more than 32 kg. To carry any such Baggage, Additional Piece Charges along with Overweight Charges will be levied on the Checked-in Baggage.
