      Visa Requirements: Visa required.

      Visa Issuance:

      1. E-visas can be obtained by authorized visa agents/partners or local contacts before departure at http://www.ica.gov.sg/. Passengers must have a printed e-visa confirmation with barcode.
      2. Expectant mothers visiting Singapore for the purpose of delivering their child in Singapore must apply for a Visit Pass prior to their visit. The Visit Pass can be applied for at ica.gov.sg(Apply for Visit Pass). Applications take 4 to 6 weeks to process. A Visit Pass is not required for nationals of Singapore or residents of Singapore holding a Re-entry Permit issued by Singapore.

      1. Visitors not holding return/onward tickets could be refused entry.
      2. TWOV (Transit without VISA)
        1. Holders of onward tickets in transit. For details, click here.
        2. Nationals of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova (Rep.), Russian Fed., Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan holding onward tickets for a max transit time of 96 hours under the Visa Free Transit Facility (VFTF). For details ,click here. Leaving the transit area is allowed.
        3. Nationals of China (People's Rep.) and India can also transit, for up to 96 hours without a visa under the Visa Free Transit Facility (VFTF) on either the outbound or return leg of the same journey (but not on both). Leaving the transit area is allowed.
        4. Nationals of China (People's Rep.) and India may use the VFTF if holding a Residence Permit (still valid for at least one month) issued by Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, USA and United Kingdom.
        5. Holders of a valid single entry visa (or multiple entry visa valid for at least one month) issued by Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, USA or United Kingdom to nationals of China (People's Rep.) and India may use the VFTF. After using a single entry visa and the VFTF was not used on the outbound leg of the journey, the VFTF can only be used on the return leg with a direct transit through Singapore from the country that issued the visa to the country of residence (e.g., SYD-SIN-PEK).
        6. Hotel accommodation is available within the transit area of Singapore Airport (SIN).
        7. 6E is a low cost carrier which is why we provide only point to point journey and no transfer desk facility is available in SIN transit area.
      3. Military:
        1. Visa not required, if holding Military ID Card with movement order issued to:
        2. members of "Her Majesty's Forces", or
        3. US military personnel (movement order must be authorized by the commander of the unit).

      Document Validity: Passports and other documents accepted for entry must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the arrival date.

      Admission and Transit Restrictions:

      1. Admission refused to holders of passports issued by Kosovo (Rep.).
      2. Admission and transit refused to holders of Iraqi "S" series passports.

      Minors:  Passport not required for children up to/ incl. 15 years of age provided travelling with a parent or legal guardian, and being registered in the passport or passport replacing document of the companion.

    To check your application status, you can log in to www.ica.gov.sg. On the website menu, click on ‘Check Status’ and click ‘Entry Visa’. At the bottom of the page, you can click ‘Status Enquiry’. You can fill the details and click proceed to check your application.

    There are two popular Singapore visas: tourist and business. But if you are holding a travel document that has been issued by Singapore, please keep in mind that holders of diplomatic, official, and service passports do not require a visa to enter Singapore.

    • Tourist visa

      Singapore welcomes travellers with open arms, and you can plan your trip by applying for a tourist visa. This is the best way to explore a country that allows you to stay for up to 30 days.

      Eligibility for tourist visa

      • You must have Indian passport
      • A return ticket from Singapore
      • Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the day of departure
      • You must have proof of the accommodation
      • Completed payment processes

      Documents for tourist visa

      • Passport valid for at least 6 months from the submission date of the visa
      • Have at least two blank pages in your passport
      • A confirmed return ticket and accommodation proof (hotel with complete address and contact number)
      • Visa application form
      • A recent passport-size photograph against a white background (size 35 mm x 45 mm, at least 2 photos)
      • Bank statement for the last six months, signed by a bank official
      • Travel insurance with a minimum coverage of SGD 30000/-
      • Negative RT-PCR test report (48 hours prior to departure) or, both times vaccination certificate

      Tourist visa validity

      The tourist visa's validity is for 1 to 3 months. It can also be extended up to 2 years (at the discretion of the embassy).

      Stay duration on tourist visa

      The stay period in Singapore is up to 30 days; however, it is determined by immigration.

    • Business visa

      Singapore is a financial hub, and annually, several business tycoons come to the island country to conduct business or work. The Singapore visa has the same requirements as the tourist visa, with an additional document to support your stay.

      Eligibility for business visa

      • You must have Indian passport
      • A return ticket from Singapore
      • Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the day of departure
      • You must have proof of the accommodation
      • Completed payment processes
      • You must have an invitation letter from the company/reason of business visa

      Documents for business visa

      • Original cover letter addressed to "The Visa Officer, Singapore Consulate" from an Indian company
      • Invitation letter from the Singapore company
      • Last 3 months' salary slips
      • Proof of sponsorship (if any)
      • Passport valid for at least 6 months from the submission date of the visa
      • Have at least two blank pages in your passport
      • A confirmed return ticket and accommodation proof (hotel with complete address and contact number)
      • Visa application form
      • Recent passport-size photograph against a white background (size 35 mm x 45 mm, at least 2 photos)

      Business visa validity

    • Transit visa

      A transit visa enables travellers to exit the airport and explore Singapore within a time frame of not more than 96 hours. If you meet the criteria for the VFTF (Visa Free Transit Facility), you can exit the airport without additional cost, provided you meet the entry requirements.

      VFTF is available to nationals of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), India, Georgia, the People’s Republic of China (PRC), Turkmenistan, and Ukraine.

      You may be eligible for the 96-hour VFTF only if you are transiting to or from any third country via Singapore. These are the requirements to obtain the VFTF:

      • You may enter the country by any mode of transport but leave by air or sea
      • You must have an onward ticket departing from Singapore within the 96-hour time frame
      • You must have a valid visa for at least one month from the date of entry under VFTF issued by the following countries:
        • Australia
        • Canada
        • Germany
        • Japan
        • New Zealand
        • Switzerland
        • United Kingdom
        • United States of America
  • Additional Singapore Visa Documents
    • Singapore Business Visa - An invitation letter from the host company in Singapore is required. The company must state the purpose of your trip and provide business details supported by a cover letter from an Indian company.
    • Singapore Visit Visa - If you are visiting a relative in Singapore, you will need an invitation letter or a Letter of Introduction (LOI) / V39A form from them.
    • For a minor - Parents / guardians must provide ‘No Objection Certificate’ along with supportive documents like ID proof of the parent (passport or PAN card).
    • For employed individuals - Provide at least 3 months' worth of salary slips along with your Employment ID Card.
    • For self-employed individuals - Provide Business Registration License / MOA / Partnership deed.
    • For retired individuals - Provide proof of retirement such as a pension book, bank statement etc.
    • For students - Provide invitation letter from the university/school, student ID card if provided, funds for proof etc.
  • Procedure to apply Singapore visa

    To apply for a visa, you’ll need to undergo certain procedures. If you are applying in Singapore, you can submit your visa application online through a travel agent partner or a local contact in Singapore. It is advised to apply for a Singapore visa at least 30 days in advance.

    Do I need any travel insurance for Singapore?

    What are the different types of Singapore Visa?
