      Visit and transit: An application for a visa/entry permit to enter the HKSAR for a visit (leisure, social or business) or transit may be favorably considered if:

      1. the applicant's bona fides are not in doubt;
      2. the applicant has adequate funds to cover the duration of his/her stay without working; and
      3. Where the application is for a transit visa/permit, he/she holds an onward ticket to the place of his/her destination unless the destination is the Mainland of China (the Mainland) or the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR).

    Note: After successful registration, you will receive a “Notification Slip for Pre-arrival Registration for Indian Nationals” generated by the computer. You need to print the form on a blank A4-sized white paper. Also, there is no need to apply for the pre-arrival registration if you are transiting or are not leaving the airport transit area. It is also not applicable to Indians who have a valid permission to stay in the city for employment and education.
