IndiGo reinforces its regional network with new flights from Bhopal

National, March 30, 2022: In-line with its vision to strengthen regional connectivity, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, commenced its new direct flight from Bhopal to Chennai effective March 29th, 2022. The new route was inaugurated today with lamp lighting at the Bhopal airport as well as the Ministry of Civil Aviation in New Delhi. The ceremony was graced by Honourable Union Minister for Civil Aviation – Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia (virtually), Honourable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh - Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan (virtually), the guest of Honour Dr. l. Murugan- Honourable MOS (virtually), and other eminent dignitaries from Bhopal at the airport. The addition of this new route from Bhopal will enhance connectivity between Central and Southern India.

National, March 28, 2022: Strengthening itsinitiative enhancing regional air connectivity, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, commenced its new direct flight from Indore to Jammu effective March 28, 2022. The new route was inaugurated today with the lighting of a lamp, at the Indore airport and Ministry of Civil Aviation in New Delhi. The ceremony was graced by Honourable Union Minister for Civil Aviation – Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia (virtually), and other eminent dignitaries from Indore at the airport. The addition of this new route from Indore is a part of IndiGo’s strategy to enhance connectivity to central India.

IndiGo commences operations from Pantnagar, effective March 27, 2022

National, March 27, 2022: IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, today commenced flight operations from Pantnagar. The latest destination on the carrier’s now has 6E exclusive direct flights to Dehradun and Delhi. The new routes were inaugurated today with a light lighting ceremony at Pantnagar air terminal. These new flights will provide greater connectivity for the region with the state capital as well as the rest of the country. Pantnagar is IndiGo's second destination in the state of Uttarakhand.

IndiGo announces the resumption of its international operations schedule with flights on 150+ routes

National, March 27, 2022: IndiGo, India’s leading carrier has announced the resumption of its international flight schedule from various destinations in India. These flights will operate from cities like Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Amritsar, Kozhikode, Kochi, Chandigarh, Tiruchirappalli, Thiruvananthapuram, and Mangaluru.

IndiGo reinforces regional network, announces 100 domestic flights in summer schedule

National, March 26, 2022: In its bid to strengthen connectivity, IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, has launched its summer schedule including 100 flights connecting key metro and regional cities in India, starting from March 27, 2022. IndiGo is introducing exclusive flights between Pune-Mangaluru, Pune-Visakhapatnam, Hubli-Hyderabad, Amritsar-Lucknow, Jaipur-Patna, Jaipur-Varanasi, Jammu-Indore, Jammu-Varanasi, Bhopal- Chennai, and Tirupati-Tiruchirappalli starting from March 27, 2022. The airline is also adding a 2nd frequency between Amritsar-Srinagar, Chennai-Bhubaneshwar, Indore-Jaipur, Chandigarh-Hyderabad and commencing operations between Prayagraj-Lucknow under RCS route, effective March 27, 2022.

IndiGo to commence flights to Thailand after 2 years, effective March 15, 2022

National, March 15, 2022: In line with its vision to strengthen international connectivity, IndiGo announced the resumption of flights to Thailand. The airline will operate these flights under air bubble agreement till March 26, 2022, and thereafter as part of its scheduled commercial international operations. The flights will connect Bangkok with Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bengaluru and Phuket with Delhi and Mumbai.

IndiGo brings back over 7180 Indian citizens in a week

National, March 06, 2022: In its mission to support the repatriation efforts from Ukraine, IndiGo brought back over 7180 Indian citizens across 33 flights till Sunday. An additional 215 citizens will land back in the country on March 07 on another flight from Suceawa to Delhi. The airline operated 34 flights, around 52% out of a total 64 flights commissioned by the Government of India under Operation Ganga from February 28 to March 07. The airline is operating these missions on A321 aircraft with all safety precautions. Most of these flights carried relief material during their onward journey, while bringing back evacuees in the return leg via Istanbul.

IndiGo to operate 51% of the repatriation flights under Operation Ganga by March 06

National, March 04, 2022: In its mission to support the repatriation efforts from Ukraine, IndiGo is operating the largest number of flights from February 28 to March 06, under Operation Ganga. The airline will be operating 42 flights (completed + planned) bringing back over 9200 Indian citizens back to their homeland by Sunday (March 06). The airline is operating these flights with A321 aircraft. Some of these flights carried relief material on their outward journey to Budapest and Rzeszow, while bringing back evacuees on the return leg via Istanbul.
